1. Use to have Otter Case. Belt bracket broke due to my line of work. Removed case and use it without Otter case with belt pouch.
2. Fixed hot bowl of chili for lunch at work.
3. Phone rang. Went to answer and it slipped out my hand and fell charger side down in the chili.
4. Cleaned it with toothbrush and compressed air.
5. Can safely charge the phone, but the speaker sound is muffled.
6. Saw videos on how to safely open the case.

Two questions: 1. How do you remove the card and 2. How should I clean the speaker?

I have available alcohol, cotton swabs, distiller water, rice (for drying), toothpicks, and eyeglass screwdrivers. Just trying to make it last until February when I upgrade.

You need to pulverize the Iphone with a hammer, then liquify it in a blender before you mix it into the chili. Simply dropping it in will not work. Iphones do not dissolve in most types of chili

With an upgrade and new 2 year contract, sure you can.

With an upgrade sure.

OP, just make sure the work area is well lit and free of cracks. It should be a pretty simple process with what you have.
