I just ordered a Note II and I cannot wait for it. It seems like a more capable machine than the Ipad I had. I am upgrading from a Blackberry 9650 so I am hoping to be blown away by the Note II.

Alright, I have the phone and I am really digging it so far. It is so fast it is crazy. The S pen comes in handy when I have gloves on. The phone is actually smaller than I thought. I had no trouble fitting it in my pockets.

Gah! Having all kinds of problems now. I need to get down to the Verizon place and see whether they can resolve them. Still it is an amazing phone, it is just frustrating when it will not do something, or when you tap one "button" and it does something completely different.

About 1/3 of the time, when I tap something on the screen, it does nothing. Often I have to tap it 6-10 times to get it to register the tap. Sometimes I tap on icon and it opens something completely different. The wierdest thing is sometimes I tap the back key and instead of going back it opens some application I have never used before.

When I tell it to call someone about half the itme, it gets the name right but says they are not in my contacts. The other half it opens the contact and calls them (same names). One exception is it will never call my wife by voice command.

It frequently opens the camera when I am doign someting utterly unrelated, like interent stuff. It really ikes the camera it seems.

This is a problem I had with my prior phone too - the navigation switches to mertic at random times. Later it switches back to miles.

I was wrgn about the speaker phone it is not very good. the non-speaker phone is not so good too. If you do not get your ear exactly centered over the hole, you cannot hear. This is a phone much better suited for use with bluetooth. I still have not sleected a blue tooth. Need to do that. I think I will buy that voyeger or whatever it is called for my brithday.

I love it and find it amazing when it works properly. Just wishing it would work more frequently.
