I just got an android, and have friends who have sent me texts with emoticons from their iPhones. We all have the emoji app for this. I can send them fine, but when they send them to me, they just show up as Japanese characters! (Or Chinese, or Korean, forgive me, i don't know the difference and haven't looked it up...doesn't matter, I can't read any of them and they should just be smileys!). Anyone know why this is happening and of it can be fixed?
