Yes I do get it. Frankly, even if you don't use GMail, you get a lot of use out of GoogleNow from other Google services. It just so happens that you get even more when you use Gmail. But there's plenty of usefulness to be had without it.

I agree. I was searching for some info on the RAZR HD phone in Chrome at work. GOt home and a card popped up: Continue researching the RAZR HD.
