Although I'm not a camera enthusiast, I'm not sure why having a camera phone which serves primarily as a camera is a bad idea.
Can't see them selling those in huge volumes, but definitely see a niche market.

Hey futbol! Yeah I saw this one too. Samsung at this point can afford to be gimmicky for the sake of it, regardless without regard to expecting high volume of sales.
I do agree that will be a niche market for a device like that. Sony sort of tried that with their Cybershot phones, but sadly the idea came out before the Android/Smartphone explosion hit.
Really curious how well it performs as a phone? or camera? transformer?

Yeah, I think Samsung could pull it off. It is a bold move for them nevertheless.
Those smart phones have an amazing amount of image post-processing features, too.
