Cutting the cords (iPhone, devices, buy, reader)

Hey everyone I have far too many cords around my house to recharge my iphone 5, ipad2 etc. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for something that can charge multiple devices. I heard docking stations which can charge multiple devices might be good. Any ideas would be appreciated. I also travel alot so portability would be good

I tend to just buy devices that I can charge with a MicroUSB connector. My eReader, tablet, phone, all of them can use the same charger, so I use a lot fewer.
