So my question is can I take this phone back to T-Mobile tomorrow and get the Blackberry Bold 9900? I knew something was wrong because it was taking me too long to figure out how to use it and then realize I had the wrong phone.

Thanks
As you have already figured out, T-Mo discontinued the Bold when the Q10 was released.

The q10 is way too advanced for me and mainly all touch screen. I want half keypad and touchscreen.
Unlike the Z10, the Q10 has a good number of keyboard shortcuts. Don't be fooled by the newness of BB10. For better or worse it still feels like a BB OS and long-time users will quickly feel right at home with it.

If you think you will miss the track pad or the four physical buttons between the keyboard and screen, you might be wrong. Once you get used to it, it should become apparent that dedicated, physical, buttons are quite archaic and swiping your way back "home" is much more intuitive.

Ended up taking the Q10 back and getting the Blackberry Curve 9312 and love the phone.
