To be more specific, I can download playlists onto my new phone, but I cannot access them from the Windows xbox music player. Therefore, I cannot listen to all the books I loaded onto my itouch. Is there anyway to do this. I don't want Audible because I far prefer to load them myself from my free public library. I can get books from the library for my mobile library, but they only stay on for 2 weeks. I rarely finish a book in that short amount of time. To top all of this off, I would just use my old Itouch, but I have given it to my daughter and she would totally flip out if I took it back!
If there is a way to get books from iTouch (in my case over to Android) I'd also love to know. I have not found any conversion tool that works with books from iTouch.

What is the source of the books? Where did you download them from to the device you are trying to extract from?
Are they in mp3 format?
It should be fairly simple and straightforward from iTunes to export those files to your desktop and then onto your Android device via Mass storage mode or MTP mode.
