I love the idea of big cellphones, essentially because so many people use their phones for web services why not? As an older person I don't use the phone that much. More importantly I want to use web services in places without wi fi and that's pretty much the only option.
That said I still can't justify the cost of a smartphone though I'm getting closer. T-Mobile is doing more with pay as you go services and hopefully others will follow suit. I may jump into the pool with one of those.
To answer your question, I'm waiting for the Note 3, so I can buy a cheaper used note 2 to use with a pay as you go service.

Does anyone have it? I have the Notes 2 and it's probably the best phone I've ever had. I am interested in the Note 3 - for no reason that it's upgraditis, contracted from my old HTC days

If you have it how do you like it?

I've also got the note 2 and I agree, best phone I've ever owned hands down. I want the note 3 but I still have another year on contract.......not enough of an upgrade to try to sell my current phone and buy one outright.

I like that the Note 3 is only $250 (with contract) but it's a single band LTE phone... which kills it for me.

just bought the note 3 last night and I love it! It's a bit big so I bought the watch that goes with it. So glad I don't use an apple phone anymore.

i love my note 3. it also looks like a mini ipad . though i'm waiting for the gear to arrive as all the stores were out of stock as it took me searching through 3 stores to get the note three in the first place. i love it i can talk a whole day and surf the web without having to charge the damm thing again way to go samsung. i really like how fast it is as well with the 2.3 ghz processer it' leaves the galaxy s4 in the dust youtube downloads faster just the whole os runs faster and smoother. really love the 4k vid recording feature as well hopefully the 4 k tv's well drop in price soon but. now all my friends envy me lol

Single band really who are you with verizons does cdma and gsm. Though 250 isn't a bad deal but if its only a single band phone then I would have no intrest in it that would be the deal breaker right there. Same thing with my tablet it does cdma and gsm. Not that I would use it over seas ide hate to see the roaming charges lol

The Verizon and Sprint Note3's only have LTE on a single band; 700Mhz and 1900Mhz, respectively. Verizon has LTE running on 2100Mhz as well, but the Note 3 doesn't support it. Sprint has LTE running on 2500Mhz and 800Mhz as well, but the Note 3 doesn't support them. Further, Sprint has TD-LTE on their 2500Mhz band, which would be significantly faster than Verizon's FD-LTE... but the Note 3 doesn't support it.
