I got the impression after watching the demo on their website Samsung is implying the speech reco and speech to text are more accurate or does it use the same "engine" as the S4?

Because the demonstrator uses a generic name Frank James, great what about all of these exotic names and foreign nationals with much more complicated names how accurate is it with that

Because that is probably make or break. If I spend $600 and I need to call Santosh Swhali because he is the IT manager I don't' a bunch of errors while I am driving, have to stop and pull over or possible get into an accident. And before you go there I know it would be best if I didn't have to drive and use phone, but that's not realistic for an outside sales person.

Go to your carrier's store, make a contact with his name and try it out...... I know it's somewhat of a hassle but you said it yourself, you're paying a lot for this phone. Try before you buy, it's the only way you'll be sure it works for you.

Good advice.

I suspect it is more of an issue of the version of Android OS and less the actual device hardware. I use the Samsung S4 and I am very happy with the voice recognition. Both the Note III and the S4 have the same version of Android OS.
