If anyone has an old iphone like a 3GS or a 4, this is a very nice upgrade, plus it's cheap with a new contract. I just picked up a white 16gb for $45 at Wal Mart.
I had a 4 & this phone definitely blows it away. I thought the plastic would be cheap at first, but no this thing is quite solid. This is a great phone for anyone who doesn't need all the bling bling features of the 5s.
I have a 4s and I'm still not convinced the new models have anything I really NEED. Especially since Sprint wanted $200 to upgrade; if they want me to sign another 2 year contract their going to have to do better than that. Good to know about the 5c because I don't really want all the bells/whistles, which is why I'm sticking with my 4s for the time being.

The 5c is basically a 5 in a new shell... and you are right, it's nothing to get excited about.
For me though... the 5s fingerprint ID is worth its weight in gold... that is if you don't mind not having to type in a 4 digit code hundreds of times a day to unlock the phone.
My contract with Verizon ends in a couple of weeks, but my iPhone 4 works great. I don't need to upgrade. The problem with that, though, is that the monthly payment with a contract, and without a contract, is the same. I don't want to paying for a new phone while I'm still using an old one. I may bail to T-Mobile, but wither way I think I'm going to get a new phone, even though this one is great.
The 5C is very nice. I joked when it was announced the 5C was a bad name. People will assume 5CHEAP not 5COLOR.
Then I saw one. It doesn't feel cheap at all. Very well built. Solid. A nice phone and a worthy upgrade from the 4.

Exactly, it runs much faster than my old 4, has the bigger screen, much nicer camera, 4G LTE capability, better battery life. Those alone are good reasons to upgrade if you have a 4 or anything older.

I have a 4s. I see no need to upgrade until sprint brings LTE to Orange County.
The camera alone is worth the upgrade. That 4S camera, at least in my wife's experience, was junk compared to the new one.
Yeah the 5s cam is pretty good... I'm strictly an amateur photographer but am quite happy with the photo quality.
