How to solve problem of finding headset when needed? (blackberry, wireless, universal)

My DH travels a LOT. He uses a Blackberry, clipped to his belt. That's fine but he NEVER has his headphone/speaker thingy when he needs it - there's no good place to carry those things (wired OR wireless). He's never wearing a suit while traveling.

Anyone come up with a decent solution to this (has to be universal) problem?

Jabra makes several bluetooth wireless single muff type earpieces. So does Plantronics. Most people I've seen wear them all day long.
