1) The black market work around patch will be out before you can even buy the phones with the proposed "kill switch." lol
It is simple, turn phone off and do not turn back on, run black market patch and remove kill code, boot phone up and use however you wish.
2) We don't need a law for every little thing in this country. Some things should just be left to personal responsibility. If you are stupid enough to leave your phone that can easily be sold for $300 laying on a table where a thief can grab it and run, well you deserve to have your phone stolen once to learn a life lesson.

Thank you, exactly my point. A kill switch on a damn cell phone ... seriously? If everyone kept the freakin toy in their pocket then thieves wouldn't be snaggin them.
