You can search for it in the play store and it'll say "installed", just click it and click uninstall if you can't find it in the manager.

Unless it's part of the pre-installed bloatware, in which case it likely can't be removed without rooting, best hope would be to disable it.

I tried finding it on the app store and could only find their suite, not just a site advisor...... so I looked at mcafee's site and they said this:

Quote:
Android devices:
SiteAdvisor is an integrated part of the McAfee Mobile Security suite. To uninstall SiteAdvisor you must uninstall the entire suite. For detailed instructions, please see TS101143.
so OP just uninstall their suite.

Is that installed on ALL GALAXY 4S?

I'm thinking of getting my first smart phone...a Galaxy 4 at Best Buy. Would they be able to get it off my phone for me during set up, if I ask them to?

If it's part of the included bloatware it likely can't be removed by anyone without rooting the phone.

No they wouldn't. the phone manufacturer will usually void the warranty if they see it was done.

Dang, I know those pop-ups would aggravate the heck out of me!

Maybe I should get the Amazon Fire Phone instead.I LOVE Amazon, no better CS anywhere, but I'd rather have Verizon than AT&T. Or what about KitKat lets you 'turn off' the bloatware without having to uninstall it? I saw this in another thread.

Thank you for the info.
