Hilton to replace hotel room keys with smartphones - CNET

I am not sure I like that idea even though I do have a smartphone. But I do know people without smartphones. What do you think of this idea?

I think it's a great convenience as I ALWAYS lose room keys. I'm sure you will still have the option to get the traditional style Credit Card key if you want one. Having it on your phone, you can just bypass the front desk if you want. Very cool.

I think it's about time. We already use our smartphones to pay for groceries and other items.
