World's thinnest (0.15in) smartphone Vivo X5 Max announced, goes on sale December 22

It's incredible that they can fit all of the components of a solid phone into such a thin package. The battery life will likely be poor, but hey, it's the thinnest smartphone on earth!

It looks like a cool novel idea but like you said the battery will certainly be terrible. Likely wouldn't make it through a day even with light usage.

This site vivo X5 Max - Full phone specifications says battery is 2000 mAh
That is a decent size/capacity.

The main problem though is that the 2000 mAh battery is powering a 5.5 inch 1080p screen. It'll probably get 2-3 hours of SOT at the best. Still, it's a pretty nice looking device and the thinness is incredible, so I certainly wouldn't mind having one.

"Thinness" is over rated.

Pushing the boundaries is underrated.
