PhotoMath is a popular app that can solve an algebra problem by taking a picture of the problem from a math book. For example, if you got x + 35 = 6x - 20 it can find x = some number.
I think the app could be useful to check work and see how the solution is worked out if used appropriately. The good old days to check your answer was by looking at the back of the text book, but today kids can use an app. I feel this app will promote laziness and solve their homework problem. Middle and high school teachers in most likely will start weighing more on the exams for grades to combat PhotoMath capabilities.
