But the quarterly report actually shows that AT&T is the lowest average revenue per unit.
Verizon Wireless* 133.475 million $52.72 on average
AT&T 121.772 million $40.78 on average
T-Mobile 56.836 million $42.45 on average
Sprint 56.702 million $46.73 on average
U.S. Cellular 4.775 million $58.01 on average (Chicago company operated in 23 states)
It seems like people are addicted to data. Even Prepaid Verizon Wireless is $35 a month for unlimited talk and text on a basic phone

The reality is Sprint and T-Mobile pricing is that far away from Verizon and AT&T.
Sprint's cut your bill in half promo thing is actually a lie. Their CFO admitted that the actual cost reduction is only about 20%.
Sprint is cutting in half the service portion of the bill — the part that pays for calling, texting and data. However, to get that savings, customers have to either lease a new phone or pay installments on the full cost of a new phone. “They are still probably getting a 20 percent sort of net discount.”
I was paying $139 per month from AT&T for 2 lines, with 10gb shared data and unlimited calls/messages. That is with a corporate discount. Now with T-Mobile, I'm paying for 2 lines, unlimited everything (except only 5gb hotspot). No throttling on regular data usage though. And it's only $100/month. My signal strength is actually better on T-Mobile compared to AT&T where I'm located.
I don't recall T-Mobile advertising being 'half-off', that's a Sprint thing. It's pretty misleading as when you actually do the numbers you end up paying more than what half off would've been. They're both cheaper than AT&T/Verizon though.
The reason AT&T's average revenue per user is going down is because they've been losing tons of postpaid smartphone customers to T-Mobile over the past couple of years. They just mask the 'net additions' numbers with $10 tablet lines added by existing customers.

I agree with you. At&t is not cheap, at least that's what I think. In addition, their customer services has gone down the hill. So, if any of you are looking for support on at&t, I can only say good luck.

When I first switched from Verizon, we were paying $210 for two phones and service. Now we're paying about $120 for 4 phones and lines. Of course, that's only possible because all 4 phones are paid off.
My family gets 10GB of data and unlimited voice and text, three iPhone 6 pluses on Verizon Edge. Once the phones are paid off, it's about $150 or $50 per person. You can't beat that with the reliability of Verizon's network.
