I have blocked some phone numbers from people who keeping sending me unwanted texts. Now, I have the gopay plan with ATT and pay for every text message sent to me. These unwanted texts, though blocked, they are in the SMS filter and still caused me the text fees . I can still read the texts in the SMS filter. Is there a way to really block some numbers so that they couldn't send me texts at all?? Oh I have the Nokia lumina 635 windows phone, if that matters. thanks

I use a free application called "Whoareyou" that allows me to setup a spam filter for voice and/or text messages as long as I can identify the caller ID of the person sending the message. Good luck.

Log into your account on-line and see if there's an on-line Black List you can edit, where the blocking happens at AT&T, rather than your phone. (I don't know AT&T, but I think Verizon had this capability).
