Surely, T-mobile is not the only company who uses Experian. Is there any reason why only T-mobile customers are affected?

I got a letter in the mail about this from T-Mobile. It just wasn't T-Mobile, but other companies who use Experian for checking credit check. They are giving a free 2 years to sign up. T-Mobile was going to take Experian to court, but settled with giving people with T-Mobile a free 2 year sign up with them from what my friend told me.

Experian leaks data so the solution is to sign up for credit monitoring by Experian and giving them even more info?

Hmmm

Better than nothing, but not better than putting in a credit freeze with all three credit agencies.
