I have T-Mobile and a Nexus 4 phone at the moment. I just ordered a Nexus 5x. Will I be able to just swap the sim from the N4 to the N5x or will I need a new sim?

Thanks!

They both have a Micro SIM, so you can just move the SIM from one phone to the other.

If you had to set custom APN settings on the Nexus 4 you'll have to do the same on the 5x

The Nexus 5x has a nano sim so you will need to cut down your current sim or get a new sim.

My bad ... looked at the list wrong... the 5 has a micro, but the 5x has a nano.

Mr_Geek is correct ... cutting them is pretty simple (I got a cutter for ~10 on Amazon), or your provider can give you a new SIM.

If you order the phone from your provider, they may provide a SIM that they can activate over the phone (or on the web).
