Is there some simple application for taking notes on your cell phone? Something like a Notepad or text pad for the phone. It's so simple to send text messages, but how would you send one or keep one for yourself?

Thanks.

I imagine that most smartphones have a note-taking app. The iPhone has always had a "Notes" app.

If you want to sync between devices there's Evernote, for a single device there are a multitude of apps available.

You shouldn't need an account for what the OP is asking for. The OP is asking if there is a note-taking app for a cellphone. In this case, it would be nice to know what phone he or she is using. What's handy about a Notes app, is that in the even you don't have a pencil and want to write a short shopping list, or a reminder about something, you can just "tap" the Notes app on your cellphone screen, and proceed to write the note.

Samsung cellphones have such apps, and so the iPhone. So I imagine that similar apps are included in any smartphone that has a screen.

Before anyone can give you a more detailed response, you need to figure out what kind of phone you have. What phone manufacturer/model are you using ???

Well, if had only looked I would have found it. It's called "Notepad." Imagine that.

Thanks for the recommendations. This one is pretty simple which is what I needed.
