Just bought a Moto E 2nd Gen.

Whenever I type text that is more than one line, it underlines the word I'm typing. When I type a space, it's no longer underlined.

This happens in both Chrome, the Gmail app or the Facebook app. I couldn't find anything in settings for it. Does it have to do with autocorrect? It underlines each word no matter if it's a real word or not!

It is an Autocomplete/Predictive Text/Word Suggestion feature.
Try this: go into Settings > Language & input > Android keyboard settings > Advanced settings > and uncheck (turn off) "Next word prediction" or "Spell checker"

I couldnt find "Next word prediction" but I found a Phone Setting for suggesting the next word and I unchecked it.
It no longer happens in Chrome. Now in Gmail or Facebook, only misspelled words are underlined, and the line is red.

Before, the underlining was black.

My menus are different - I have "Current Keyboard" and "Google Keyboard" only.

Right. Now only misspelled words are underlined, so you can correct them. If you type everything correct, no words should be underlined.

Yeah, and I went to Settings and turned off Google Spell Check. Now nothing is underlined in red.
