I just got an LG Optimus zone 2 smartphone with a Verizon no contract plan. So far I've been pretty happy with it, but the other day I used Quick memo to put a note on my home screen and now I can't delete it. The scribble note shows up as an overlay of my home screen wallpaper and the image does not show up in any gallery album for me to delete it. I'm reluctant ti disable or uninstall Quick memo because it was pre-installed and there is a warning about possible problems after force stopping it. I'm really sick of looking at my scribble that was intended to be a temporary thing.

Not familiar with the app but sounds like a widget. PRESS AND HOLD. An 'x' or the word REMOVE should appear somewhere allowing you to drag it there.

The warning is standard\generic and means nothing most of the time. If you, for example, disable the DIALER then you can't make phone calls. You can see where that message has meaning in that case. A memo program will not cripple your phone by being disabled.

Actually I figured out a fix by just trial and error. i changed the "theme" setting of my home screen and when I switched back to my original home screen theme the Quick memo overlay was gone. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
