If you don't use your phone often, then delete your email notifications, social media apps, blog app and other stuff you don't want anyone to see, and use it for calling, maps and news only.

That's a really good idea, but aside from using the cell for sending and receiving calls, I use it on occasion to text...(And also read old emails.)
