I second the wilson boosters.I have an older 1212 4g in my truck and it has never left me without coverage even in Wyoming.

Another vote for a Wilson / weBoost booster. We use one for both voice and data when traveling in our RV, and wouldn't be without it.

Having a deal on a carrier that doesn't work where you live is worthless.

I could save $20 a month if I switched to TMobile, but then my phone would not work where I lived. Think about it.

If you have internet access you can use an extender which is like your own personal mini cell phone tower. Communications go over you internet connection and it's practically 100% it will work.

You might have to buy this from your provider, we got one from Verizon. Think it was $100 but it's one shot deal. You have to be something like 40 feet for the phone to lock onto it but it will work out to farther distance once connected.

AT&T Smart Wi-Fi calling app should solve the problem anywhere there is wifi.

Do you have wifi?

Switch to a VOIP number and you wouldn't have to rely on cell towers
