Worth noting whether you're a fan or not. Target is currently offering the 16 gig iPhone 5s for $199 at Target. Allegedly this is the Verizon tower variant and is not unlocked so only works on Tracfone. If you want an AT&T version you'd have to get an unlocked GSM version of it and use their bring-your-own-phone program.

Apple will probably continue to support the 5s with updates for at least another year or two, as they're just now about to drop the 4s but still support the 5. If you use cloud storage or a Sandisk iXpand drive you can work around the 16 gig limitation for the price.

Just got an iPhone 5s 16gb at Wal-Mart for $149 (has to be used on Straight Talk or Total Wireless). Wal-Mart sold out of them very quickly, but I just looked at Total Wireless online and they still have the phone, also for $149 plus $35 for the first month of service. So even a better deal than at Target!

I am still trying to figure out which system to activate on ... just posted here: //www.city-data.com/forum/cell-...g-t-total.html .
