Coming up on 3 year anniversary of my 5S. I've dropped it in water (over a year ago), stuck it in rice & no issues. Been out of contract for a year. I've got it in a case & the glass screen cover but looks like may have internal cracking (when look at screen at different angles) no real issues except, it's small & hard to deal with when your eyes are 55 years old.
I've held off upgrading until it really just refuses to work.
I actually think the iPhone 6S is a better deal. I've gotten several phones both iPhone and Android without the headphone jack. I got a bunch of Bluetooth headsets but I still think it's better to have the headphone jack. So whatever Apple says that the got the balls to remove it. It's a bad decision because countless times I have to look for the dongle to put my headphones on while charging at work you can't do both unless you buy one that can.
Why hasn't the 6s dropped in price? Ever since I posted earlier, my phone (5s) is giving me indication (losing charge faster than before) of the end in sight. I definitely need a larger phone & can't decide between the 6 or 7 but would really like to see the 8 come out & the prices on either of the predecessors drop. I definitely want the larger storage as well - have 32 right now & well, you know how that goes...Suggestions?

The 8, from all reports, won't be available until the end of the year. Get the 6s if you want to save a $100 compared to the 7. Otherwise get the 7. Either phone will make you smile.
I went from the 5s to the 6 and it made me smile. Bigger screen and a better camera. A year and a half later I still like my 6. If I had the desire or need to replace my phone today, I'd go with the 7. Why? The 7 is a faster computer and has a better camera compared to the 6s.

Thank you very much - I use my phone for work, take pictures on my association weekly walk arounds & so for the $100 difference at this point, looking more to the 7 for the speed/camera.

6S and 7 hardly much difference for typical tasks. The difference is the 7 can handle bigger tasks such as shooting video in full 4k. It may not matter for folks who don't have 4K TVs to watch the content. Overall usage speeds are negligible differences. Water proof is a good thing to have even though 6S does not water splash protection just not advertised.
I am starting to hate the non headphone jack, a few times my bluetooth headset had no power I couldn't just plugin my trusty earphone without the dongle that I don't carry around.
I got the 120 G 7 Plus, a week ago, and am beyond happy I did it - the 5s seems like a dinosaur compared to this.
LOVE IT!
