As a follow-up, today Google canceled my colleague's Google Payments account or facility or whatever -- the result being he's also lost his Google Play (which he uses / used to listen to music in car, at gym, and at desk). "Violations of Terms of Service" was the reason cited on the payments page. It seems like they let him keep the service throughout the time he had already paid for but have prevented him from paying for another month. He actually called Google Customer Service (I didn't really know such a thing existed) and it seems they were unhelpful, wouldn't or couldn't go into detail on why, couldn't offer another way to pay for Google Play, etc. He says his Google Payments / Google Play was completely separate from his Google Wallet.
Now that they have the ability to use massively powerful deep-learning algorithms to actually USE all this data, I guess the question is what are they doing with it and what will they do with it? Do they sell the raw data or the algorithmic conclusions? Is there a risk of this data being hacked and released en masse? Does the government have access to this information?

Now do they, no, they try to focus their manpower on potential terrorist activities, other illegal activity and trying to look out for the best interests of the US, whether you agree with them or not.
