Hi.
I found an older ATT "Go Phone" flip phone at a local store.
It's unused -- the box has never been opened (orange box).

I really want a flip phone. I want unlimited talk/text -- no data.
I want to buy monthly minutes cards at local stores -- not online.

Hope you won't mind these questions before I buy it:
-- Does the "Go Phone" plan offer my preferences (can't find info online)?
-- Is the phone too old and won't work these days or near future?
-- Any feedback on the phone's quality from "Go Phone" users?
Thanks!

They renamed AT&T Go Phone to AT&T Prepaid last year. I would imagine the phone would still work as they don't change standards that quickly.

Unlimited nationwide talk & text with no data costs $30 MONTHLY ($25 W/AUTOPAY)

You can get refill cards at Walmart or Target and probably at drug stores as well.

What model phone was in the Go Phone box ??? Does it have the LTE/VOLTE frequencies ?? If only 3G it will be obsolete in a short period of time.

Probably 18 months, possibly longer. Still a reasonable investment for a cheap phone.
