When I purchased my Doogee S60 at GearBest I was very happy with it. Beautiful, fast working, reliable, incredibly solid body, only positive points for almost a year of use.

...Until the miserable misfortune of having it wet! Then everything turned into crap!!
My phone immediately stopped working as it got wet because the top and bottom rubber lids DIDN'T PREVENT WATER TO GET INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT!!
I have contacted GearBest but I was simply accused of equipment misuse and left talking to myself... Now I have a beautiful €200 brick.
I'm totally clueless about what should I do... Any advice on how to push further my complaints or on how to recover(?) my phone?

Thanks a lot!

You're right. The website says it's waterproof:
https://www.amazon.com/Proofing-5580.../dp/B075CDSGD8
On the same website (Amazon) people rated it pretty low AND some complained that it wasn't waterproof. Too bad you didn't read it before your purchase.
Did you contact the maker and asked for advice?
You can also try this:

To contact click on this:
https://www.doogee.cc/detail/ip68-rugged-smartphone/112
Scroll down to Customer Service and Support info. Contact them.
If that don't help write your complain on their Facebook page for others to see. Most companies react pretty fast and try to solve the problem to avoid bad reputation.

Good luck!

There is NO such thing as a waterproof phone and never has been, no matter how the manufacturer advertises it. Some phones have a water resistance rating only.

I always chuckle when I remember the number cause of water damage to a phone is being dropped in a toilet.

Fortunately my iPhone 7 can survive such a mishap
