LG is the same way. If you get their flagships, they're great phones. But those phones for less than $300 not so much.

Good to know, thanks a lot! I currently have a Samsung Cor Prime 4.4.4. I guess in technology term's, that's considered old by now.

Yeah that's old.

The Chinese phones are the best bet on the low end. Like Hauwei or ZTE. South Korean firms don't care all that much on the low end. You also have Alcatel; as I understand those phones can go either way. Alcatel is like part Nokia, part TCL, so it is a Finnish/Chinese product.

My last few phones have been Samsung, so I have no issue staying w/ that for my next new phone. I seem to like that brand. My next TV will be that so far too.
