I used WAZE today for the 1st ever time on my Apple ph and at the same time used it on a 25-30 mls R/T on the car using the Car Play screen...Nice, the voice I went from english to italian and then spanish, the commands were perfect and a in a clear tone of female voices...Never was I a fan of this Disney looks App, but it worked better for me than even the new Google Map in the car.
We now have 2 excellent Apps when travelling.

Now that you mentioned it, I also noticed that my Apple 6s also got kind of hot when I used WAZE yesterday, The battery was fully charged when I got home.
I wonder IF running the App on Bluetooth (At the added risk of the battery wearing down too fast) rather than with the wire helps ??
I will try it an report on this in a couple o' days
Drove down to the Welcome Center at the Everglades National Park today and used again the Google Maps...Just fantastic how this make life so much easier. Just a great addition to my Car Play.
Waze working really well in my Honda...Going to Broward County later this AM to not so familiar areas for me (I live in SW Miami Dade) so the WAZE will really come in handy..
Waze has been great but it does heat up my phone considerably.
