I have a Tracfone that is my only phone, no landline. I was thinking of getting a second phone on the same number, is that possible? I would like to leave it plugged in upstairs for emergency use only. It doesn't need to have any minutes.

I would ask this question of Tracfone but their chat feature no longer works and I don't feel like trying to explain it to their overseas reps.

I wouldn't think so since you'd have to have a duplicate SIM.

I have a Tracfone as a 'backup' to my Verizon cell phone (different phone numbers). Both are flip phones. I use the Tracfone occassionally and find that it works so well that I may just give up the Verizon and stay with Tracfone since I don't use the phone all that much and a 'dumb' phone that costs approximately $7/mo to maintain meets my needs.

I don't believe it's possible to have two with the same number.
As for chat, try it again ? (and even possibly after a restart on your computer, just in case?)
