I'm hoping there are some Google Voice users here. I use the GV app on an Android phone (Samsung S4).

New problem started last week - I cannot answer calls. Call comes in, and I either have to push "1" to answer call or "2" to send to voicemail. I repeatedly push 1 or 2 and it just doesn't work. The phone keeps ringing and eventually goes to VM.

A related problem is that it used to be that I could send the call to VM but listen while the person was speaking and then pick up in the middle and talk to them by pushing #. Now, when I push 2 over and over, it sometimes says "ok, sending call to voicemail" rather than giving the option to listen.

I hope this can be fixed... I really don't want to stop using GV. Everything else on my phone is working fine.

Any suggestions appreciated!!

Have you tried turning off the call screening option? I don't use that myself, so without it the options are just to answer or reject the call and I haven't had any problems.

Sometimes when there's an issue with GV, the next update fixes things.

Thanks - I did try this and I can receive calls when I turn the screening off. I hope they fix it though... I really like being able to listen while someone leaves a message and then decide if I answer or not.
