I have checked my phone and the pictures come out correctly. Also had a dozen others check it out of curiosity and the pictures come out correctly. Seems only people you know who have bad phones then.

I've been through every branch of every menu of my friends' phones, and there is no setting concerning flipping/unflipping selfies.

Well I'm not.
I'm asking seriously for help for those of my friends whose selfies are not automatically being corrected so lettering, etc is not backwards.
