Advertisements

Not sure what happened, but all these pop advertisements are constantly going off on my phone and I don't know how to stop it or where they are coming from. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it, or something I can upload to the phone that will get rid of it?

It's probably coming from the internet I'm guessing, just not sure what to do. If anyone has any advice, I appreciate it! Thanks! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy if that helps...

Try clearing the browser cache.

Or it might be a rogue app you recently installed.

Okay thanks, my phone had 'clear browsing data' so I tried that, and I'll wait and see if it worked.

Okay thanks. Well it didn't work and the advertisements are still popping up.

I’d go back and see what apps I installed around the time it started happening. Delete 1 by 1 until you find the culprit.

If all else fails a restore and set up as new would fix it, until the rogue app is downloaded again.

BACK UP first, then factory reset.

How many apps you have?

I don't have any apps on my phone I don't think, accept for the ones that came with it. I didn't install any new apps since I bought the phone a few months ago.

Most likely the OP has downloaded an application that is showing the advertisements. I seriously doubt there is any true "Malware" . I would imagine the only solution is to find and delete the application causing this.
