Never figured I'd use my phone to access the internet but waiting a long time at a doctors office decided to.
Clicked on the World icon and pop up said, not installed.
Went to my apps and it shows up as to how many KBs are used in internal storage, no data used.
It gave the choice to Force Stop and Disable is greyed out.
Not being that savvy to begin with, I'm baffled.

I don't know what you are talking about. Do you need to configure your phone? Check on the storage? Get an Internet connection?
How you use your phone? Just for calls/text? Is that your first phone?

Will this help?

Hasn't helped so far but the hardreset site is the best I've seen for information about this phone, so thanks for that.

Perhaps a better way to have described the problem is that the Internet Icon is on the Home page which should only happen if it's installed but when clicked on, states that it isn't.
Internet appears on the App list but only displays the Force Stop option. The Disable option is greyed out and no option to Activate.
I'll keep trying .

What does it say EXACTLY when you click on it? Because you are correct. If the icon is there, it is installed.

Is your phone connected to WIFi? Did you figure out this on your phone settings
Tap on "Settings" then on "Connection" see what it says and report back?

If you are having trouble with that, you could just go to any phone store and ask them to help. Walmart will do, Best Buy, etc.

Does the Google Play store work?

If so, install another browser like Chrome.

If not, it could be you need to configure some settings for internet access.

If you bought the phone at a store, take it back for assistance.

If you bought it online, you may need to check your settings. Sometimes, these phones do not come configured. You can get around this by using wifi.

Is it a tracfone?
