I have an LG Rebel 4 cell phone.

I tried sending a photo by text to a friend and it did not go through (too big).

How do I downsize photos stored on the cell phone? I have looked it up online but the directions didn't seem to apply to my phone.

Is there an Android way to resize pictures?

many instant messengers automatically reduce the pic size if you forward the photo.

Yea, what Alec said. Any messaging app worth a ... would auto resize them for you. This is not something you need to be bothered with.

Install that on your phone. It's a good basic texting app that will alleviate this issue for you.

I did try a Google search. Not much help.

Thank you, Alec and Peregrine, for the info. That does help.
