I dropped my phone, then bought a new screen with frame (see attached), the seller sent a few pieces of repair kit.

I thought it is not hard to replace the smartphone screen, but I failed to replace it.
  • The repair kit is so cheap, it broke.
  • After I break it apart, I realized I need heat gun to break screen from frame, correct?
  • Not sure how to bring every component onto seller's frame. It seems some components are attached to current frame.
  • I thought I need heat gun to break seller's screen away from frame, then use heat gun to break current screen away from current frame, then switch screen. Maybe I am wrong.

Anyway, I could not take a photo of current smartphone. I don't have extra camera to take photo. Since I failed to replace the screen, I had to put it back together.

Not enough info. What phone? Do you still have the original package from the replacement kit?
There are several Youtube videos with a tutorial. Just Google: DIY replace smartphone screen.
