More screen space for invasive advertising! Marketers are gonna love it.

It looks like a cool phone.
I loved the nokia lumia 920. That was my first smart phone. It gave the user the perfect amount of control. I could easily plug it in like a usb stick and upload all my media unlike apple where you need itunes if you have a PC. Unfortunately, Steve Balmer had no mobile strategy.
Microsoft surface is very popular and actually useful. They could break into mobile again which definitely needs competition because of google and amazon. I don't understand why they don't use their OS that the had for the lumia.
hope MS doesn't choke again. Don't know why they need to use android. I don't trust google software.

I feel that it has to be as innovative as the iPhone was in 2007 in order to pull off this feat. Releasing a premium phone that can't take advantage of the latest network technologies is risky.

Why? They couldn't pay developers to write apps.
The OS and Nokia hardware were magnificent for users, but harder for developers and IOS and Android already had grabbed market share. So, there just were no or not enough apps.
I hung onto my Nokia 1520 phones as long as I could justify and finally had to give up just to get a couple of apps for work.
My wife still has an HTC Windowsphone. Cheap person who sees no benefit in learning another OS, she is.
And, I feel a twinge of sadness and envy anytime I pick it up.

Whatever happened to the flexible smartphones?
(not talking about a glorified flip phone..Dual screen), Im talking about a cell phone I can roll up, fold in half, something truly 'flexible'.
Anyone want to take a guess how many years the 'smartphone' will look exactly the same? (we are going on about 8 yrs now so Im not holding my breath!!!) lol

The price is not horrible... except for the fact that they cut corners. If they had flagship specs, it would be reasonable.
