So i heard that Verizon was gonna quit CDMA and hand it over to the FCC, what will happen then?

It will become part of the trash pile of old technology like TDMA and analog.

jeez, and its newer than GSM and im expecting trashy GSM to go before CDMA.


plus E911 services may still remain like what At&t did with 2G after they upset the FCC


plus there is WCDMA, which is more reliable than plain CDMA, it mixes CDMA along with PCS and AMPS

Default CDMA or GSM?

so i recently got a casio GzOne ravine 2 which can do both GSM and CDMA, which cell technology/carrier should i use?

GSM is the international standard and works better

not compltely phased out, there are still lots of carriers that use CDMA



also if its that obvious what carrier would you reccomend
