I don't know...I've had an I-Phone and when Hubs decided he should get a 'smart' phone he picked the motorola. He can't figure out how to use all the functionality and frankly, neither can I !!
Anytime you switch phone brands, there will be a learning curve and eventually you will be more comfortable with use over time.
I use an Android phone and mom uses an iPhone. I confess that I don't like using her phone and she doesn't like to use mine.
How to navigate through the settings and functions, for one. Of course, husband has every kind of security on this thing....you'd think he was in the CIA. I just don't find it as user friendly as the Apple product, but that could be because I am not used to it. I've sat down to try to familiarize myself with it but lost interest.

He's spent alot of time in the woods (IMO to get away from all the political turmoil of the past year and clear his head) and some days he's gone so long, I thought he might have a car hidden somewhere and he is going off for a drive!
Motorola has always been the best for me (android user). Where I used to live was pretty far off the beaten path and a fringe area. The only service that worked there was Verizon but all of our calls still kept getting dropped constantly and we had to go out on the porch usually anyway to talk. Then my niece who worked for Verizon at the time told us to try the Motorola phones because they had stronger (radio cards, I think she said) antennas or whatever. All of our dropped calls stopped from that moment on and we used Motorola ever since. Until now. I moved and switched services and at the time they couldn't transfer my Motorola so I ended up with a Samsung. As soon as I've used my thousand dollar's worth of this phone up, I'm going back to Motorola (they can switch any phone over now).
It may depend on the carrier. We have a MOTO through Consumer Cellular and inside buildings the signal is weak. The phone is great, recognizes incoming spam with easy "report spam" and you can delete multiple text messages with one click vs. having to click on each one and then click on the "trash" button. Good internet phone.
