After about 5 years, I've upgraded from my iPhone 8Plus to the latest--a 15Pro. But for some reason I seem to frequently have issues with the battery not charging. I plug it in at night and have often awaken to find it did not re-charge. I don't typically allow it to go very low. Have tried different connectors and sometimes it re-charges and sometimes it doesn't. It's just so weird bc it doesn't seem like a hardware issue.
Anyone else heard of this problem---or had it with other versions?

in my experience the cable and/or charging block is invariably the issue not the phone

try wireless charging.

Could be the phone. If you’ve tried different connectors/cables, then that would make something within the phone or the battery a possible cause. Look at the warranty/coverages, and consult how to get it repaired.

I went to the Apple store and it looks like it was the charging block, which I lacked. Apparently iPhones are quite picky with what you use to charge with. It appears to be charging fine now that I purchased the USB-C 20W power adapter.
Thanks for your help! :-)
