Dear members,

I'm an international student without Social Security Number so I didnt sign up an annual contract, just register and receive a sales receipt for the service of T-mobile prepaid plan/Flexpay in January, 2009. After the first month, I stopped using this service but I didnt notice T-mobile in writing as I thought that this is prepaid plan = I dont pay for the next month and I wont use it. A few days ago, T-mobile sent me a bill of 195USD from March-May, meaning they keep charging me every month. While waiting for their response until next week, I'd like to ask if anyone here has experience in my situation? What is your best advice for me?

Thank you so much & Have a great day!

Julian

If you didn't notify them, then you owe them the money. Simple as that. Just because you stopped using the service doesn't indicate that you ENDED the service.

If you want TRUE pre-paid service at good rates, check out
Prepaid Cell Phone Service and Pay as You Go from Virgin Mobile ® USA - Official Site -- no, I don't work for them but I have used their service for about 7 years and it's excellent. If you don't add money to your account, they will shut off your service and not bill you anything. That's the route you need to go.

Thank you, Teatime!
Finally, I got the feedback from T-mobile. I am not required to pay anything for the bills or even Early Termination Fee $200. The reason is that I didn't sign any contract with them.
I'm relieved now.
Have a great weekend!
