Best prepaid SIM card for temporary use in the US

I am looking for an online site to purchase prepaid phone cards that can call from egypt and jordan to the US at a reasonable rate. I am also wondering if there is any difference between the different phone cards (mci, sprint, whatever) in terms of quality or are they just all the same. Any information on this would be helpful!

I was just in Egypt and found out it was less expensive to use the local telephone call shops ( I don't know what else to call them) They will place your call for you and you pay them when your call is finished. For a 10 minute call to the US, it was about4.00.
