so, i just bought a used i touch and when i try to go to the appstore and download something, it already has the previous owner's itune's email address....and obviously i don't have the pswd so instead of letting me enter my email address, it just let's me cancel.

how can i over ride this address and enter my own?

-ps. there is nothing else on the itouch. it's clean.

Try going to settings, then click on store. You should be able to sign out and then sign back in using your username.

Sync the Touch with your computer, and you will get a message that the Touch is connected to another computer, but will ask you if you want to erase it and reset it to your computer. After you do that, you'll be able to add Apps and music to the Touch.

I don't believe syncing will reset any account data on the iPod. Multiple iPods can be synced to a single computer. Doing a restore with iTunes would erase any data left over, though.
