I had to go to the VT. Attorney General twice to get Verizon to stop billing us/threatening
our credit when our contract with them expired, and lanline issues when we moved to FL.
What made it worse is that we called them once a month starting 3 months before the
contract was to expire just to make sure there was no loophole they could use to re-contract
us. Still, after all of that, they absolutely refused to terminate the contract -THEY -wrote.
This situation repeated itself when we tried to end our home service.
I will use tin cans with a string in-between them before I would ever use Verizon.

The $350 is only for advanced devices, not all of the new phones!

My termination fee is $175. I just renewed a 2 yr contract. I'm not sure where this $350 figure is coming from but in my case it isnt true.
