I bought a new cell phone battery from Amazon and the battery will not hold a charge. I've been having problems getting my money back from Amazon and another company that sells the battery. Battery is only three weeks old.

LG OEM Hi-Performance Original Battery 1100mAh for VX3200 VX6100, VX3200, VX4650, VX4700, AX4750, PM-325, MM-535, VI-125, VX5200, VX8100, VX3300, PM-225, LX-350, VX8300, VX5300, VX3400

Item model number: SBPL0082001

Found these reviews after I bought the battery.

The battery will not hold a charge, but I don't think it's the company's fault. I bought another cell phone after receiving this battery and trying it.

At first this battery seemed ok but after a few months and under the same conditions, it doesn't hold a charge much better than the 3 y/o battery it replaced.

I've read about two issues when buying batteries this way. It's possible that the battery is not OEM, and therefore the manufacture is not as good, or that the batteries are new but have been sitting around a long time and don't hold a charge as well as newly made batteries.

I'm probably going to buy my replacement battery from a local place, so at least I would have some chance of returning it easier.

Good luck.
