I sent 2 video clips from my cellphone to my computer. When I try to open with Windows Media Player, it says the file extension .3g2 is not recognized by Windows Media Player.

How do I get the video clip to play? Can I convert it to another format?

The cell is LG Envy and computer is Vista. I have QT and Windows Media Player, maybe some other apps to play video? Not sure. I know I ran into this problem before, but have no memory of whether it could be fixed.

But how silly to have a cell which can take video if a computer cannot play it!?! What's up with that?

Thanks if anyone can help me!

I am having the same problem.. I could see them on my home computer before it did the updates on the phone, now they don't work. All I get is a still picture.

Have you resolved the problem yet? If so I would be interested in hearing what you did.

Try VLC media player... It supports almost every video and audio format, and it is free...
